Q. How do I post a Classifieds Ad?
A. You need to create an Account before you can post an Ad. Click on the “Add Listing” button located at the top of the page. Then follow the prompts to create your Account and Advertisement.
Please note: Once you have submitted your Advertisement, it will not go live immediately. The Harness Racing Trading Ring (HRTR) Administrators review all Advertisements before they are made live, this is done a minimum of twice daily (am & pm). You will receive an email once your Advertisement is Live.
Q. How much does it cost to post a Classifieds Ad?
A. All users can create three (3) FREE advertisements. After your third FREE Ad, to continue posting Ads we charge a Membership Fee of $44.00 (inc gst) per year which enables you to post unlimited Ads for 12 months.
Q. Can someone help me write my Ad?
A. If you need assistance writing your Ad, we can help. For a small fee of $25.00 (inc gst), all you need to do is provide the horses name and an image and we will do the rest. Click here for further information.
Q. How do I view a certain Category of Ad’s (ie, only show Racehorses for sale)?
A. Go to the “View All Listings” page and select the Category you wish to view from the list in the right-hand column.
Q. How do I view ALL Advertisements (ALL Categories and Locations)?
A. Click on the “View All Listings” Button located at the top of the page (or on a mobile, click on the 3 bars (the Menu) located at the top right hand side of the screen and click on the last item “View All Listings”.
Q. Can I add an image and a video to my Advertisement?
A. YES
You can upload 3 images with each Advertisement, maximum size 2mb and a link to a videos. Upload your videos to YouTube or VMEO and paste the link into your advertisement.
Q. Can I make a change to an Advertisement I have already posted and is live?
A. YES
Login to your Account (click on “My Account” in the menu at the top of the page), select the listing you wish to change and click on the “edit” button, located to the right of the listing.
The changes won’t go live immediately until HRTR Admin approves and republishes the post.
Q. What do I do once my Listing is SOLD and I don’t want to receive any more calls or emails?
A. Login to your Account, select the listing you wish to remove and either click on the “Delete” button or “Mark as Sold” button located to the right of the listing.
Q. How do I create SHORTCUT to the Harness Racing Trading Ring on my iPhone?
A. Open Safari and navigate to the www.harnesstradingring.com.au website to create a shortcut icon for.
Tap on the Share button at the bottom center of the screen.
You will be prompted to enter a title for your shortcut. You can change it or leave the default title of the web page.
Q. How do I create SHORTCUT to the Harness Racing Trading Ring on my Android Phone?
A. Navigate to the www.harnesstradingring.com.au website to create a shortcut icon for.
Tap the menu button and tap Add to Homescreen. You’ll be able to enter a name for the Shortcut and then Chrome will add it to your home screen.
The icon will appear on your home screen like any other app Shortcut or widget, so you can drag it around and put it where ever you want.
